Director Selvaraghavan and his wife Sonia Agarwal applied for divorce at a family court in Chennai today.
Since the couple filed for divorce with mutual concern it is expected that the legal proceedings would be completed soon.
There was a buzz a few months ago that the marriage of Selva and Sonia was on rocks, however they proved it false by attending the audio release ceremony of ‘Aayirathil Oruvan’ together. Sonia was one among the celebrity who lit the "kuthuvilakku" at the event.
Sonia made her first appearance with ‘Kadhal Konden’ a film directed by Selvaraghavan, that also had her brother-in-law Dhanush in the lead.
