Kuttisranku all set to create history!

The Shaji N. Karun-directed Kuttishranku, in which Mammootty does the key role, is all set to create history of sorts. Produced by Reliance Big Entertainments, Kuttishranku would be the first Malayalam film to have a woman as the cinematographer.

Anjali Shukla, who is a product of the FTII Pune, wields the camera for Kuttishranku, which has Mammootty, Kamalini Mukherjee, Padmapriya and Sri Lankan actress Meena Kumari in key roles. Anjali had earlier assisted Manoj Pillai in Achchanurangaatha Veedu and Santhosh Sivan in Ananthabhadram.

Shaji N. Karun, who is an accomplished cinematographer himself, chose Anjali as the cinematographer because he felt that the film, which spoke of the life of a man from the perspective of three women, should look at things from a woman's point of view. And

Anjali's sincere effort is to rise to the expectations of the illustrious filmmaker. All the best, Anjali!
